About Vix

Growth Partner. Journalist turned engineer turned marketer turned operator.

I built a six-figure business in six weeks at 27 years old because the only thing that has ever mattered to me was getting to take my future babies to preschool dropoff.

And over a decade later? I’m doing exactly that after helping over 200 founders do the same.

Well, not all of the founders I’ve worked with are women, but the teams I’ve worked with since I started consulting “on the side” way back in 2005 when I was still in high school have all been able to get more time, energy and space back to spend with their families.

Family is a funny thing. It’s defined in so many ways by so many people and for so many women, especially young, single women, it is often a liability.

And to that? I say BS.

I work with female founders whose businesses have outgrown the systems that got them here. I find where your revenue is leaking and build the custom systems to fix the leak.

I built my company, Agency 6B, because I was tired of hearing Founders say they were investing in marketing and still not seeing revenue increase the way they knew it should be. They hired the team, ran the campaigns, watched the budget go out, and couldn’t explain what came back.

Marketing blamed sales. Sales blamed the leads. Nobody could prove anything because nothing was connected on the backend and whatever was connected? No one was using.

That’s a systems problem, not a team problem. I build the solution to fix it, my team runs the system. You own everything, end to end.

I work at the intersection of marketing technology and revenue operations. The hand-off between “we generated the lead” and “we closed the deal” either works or it doesn’t. We’re the ones who figure out which it is and why, then build the system that makes it work.

Every engagement starts with a Diagnostic across six areas of the business. I audit what’s broken before we build anything. From there, we scope and build the custom system the Diagnostic reveals.

Clients have included The United Nations, The Ad Council, Cohen’s Fashion Optical, Tommy Bahama Spirits, Paraco, Link AKC, CKO Kickboxing, and founders in executive coaching, entertainment, performing arts, and media.

I also created a series of masterclasses after building a WhatsApp group to nerd out when my daughter was first born; AutoMagic is the place for women who want to use AI to reduce the mental load without losing their personality, their super powers or their patience. And hey, for every AI tool we use in a way that doesn’t light the world on fire, we’re one step closer to actually leaving a planet for our kids to grow up on, right?

I am a Forbes Next 1000 Founder (Class of 2021), an international speaker, published author and single mother. Prior to launching Agency 6B: I worked at Time, Inc’s This Old House Magazine, ABC’s LIVE with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, launched NBC’s The Meredith Vieira Show, ghost-wrote for Bethenny Frankel’s Telepictures talk show and was on the team that launched Masterclass. I’m a former journalist who taught herself to code, which is why I approach every engagement as if I am embarking on a fact-finding mission; like a relentless hound, I won’t stop until the job is done and I won’t let you stop either.

If you’ve tried strategy sessions, downloading AI prompt libraries, following every bro guru out there and still have no idea how you’re going to hit your next revenue target, you’re in the right place.

PS: I’m an Elder Millennial who grew up at the generational crossroads of technology being everywhere and nowhere. I learned to type on a manual typewriter while using wifi in every other class in high school. Sarcasm is my love language, Diet Coke is my little treat and I believe a good day starts and ends with a little old fashioned club remix. For all things “human,” visit me on Substack. In good company.
